WATER PROJECT

The water project for this year is finished and will resume in the Spring of 2026. To date, we have completed approximately 80% of the entire project. As a Board, we wish to thank all of you who have been patient and who have made accommodations for this significant project. Please see the work map below for a full update on work completed.

CHANGES TO THE BOARD

We gratefully acknowledge the many hours of dedicated service provided by Renn Egbert to the Association.  Renn has been serving as the water master, road upkeep, equipment specialist, and general do-it-all-guy for several years. Upon Renn’s resignation effective November 1st, Dan Smith has been asked by the Board to fill Renn’s position until the membership can vote on a permanent replacement at the next Annual Meeting in June.  Thank you Renn!

PARKING NEAR THE PAVILION

The parking area near the pavilion is now clear of construction  equipment. Those wishing to park their trailers there may now do it. Be aware that we cannot  guarantee that you will be able to drive a vehicle to the pavilion all winter long. If there is extremely heavy snowfall the volunteers may not be able to clear the road. Make sure that you park trailers next to the road, preferably with angled parking. Do not park trailers directly in front of the pavilion and restrooms. Keep that area open for cars and trucks with all wheel or four-wheel drive which you will need to be able to get back up the hill to the main parking lot.

There are three new service committees that have been created by the Board through the generosity of several lot owners. The objective of the committees is to provide increased security, facilitate a sense of community, and elevate member services at very low or no cost. FIRE FUEL REDUCTION CREWS

The Utah Fire Mitigation Crew, in connection with the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), have cut in a 50 foot firebreak across the Saechao's property. This will help protect all of our cabins and lots.  The Saechao’s have additionally been very generous in this process by allowing the crew to reside at their cabin while they performed this work for all of us. If you have a chance, please let Steve and Chrystal know of your appreciation. The Mitigation Crew has completed its work for this year and may resume in the Spring if funding and time resources are available.

NEW YEARS EVE BONFIRE

We will have the annual New Years Eve Bonfire as always pending adequate snow fall to allow the event to take place. If you’ve seen the burn pile, you will know that this will be the biggest bonfire ever!  This year the Activities Committee will be overseeing the bonfire building upon and making improvements to the past. Hot Chocolate and Doughnuts will be served and possibly some other surprises. If you’re on the mountain please make plans to join for some family and community fun.

VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION

We express appreciation to Steve and Julia Adams and to Kathy Dinkel for serving the Association as the PCR Schedulers and Restroom Attendants. Daniela Sorensen will be taking over as the new Restroom Attendant. Thank you Daniela for your willingness to help!
